Kendra Bookout, M.D., FACOG
Dr. Bookout attained her Doctorate of Medicine from Texas A&M University Health Science Center College of Medicine and completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas. She is a board certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist with over 11 years of experience.
Dr. Bookout is passionate about women’s health throughout all phases of life and seeks to give honest individualized attention to every patient under her care. She has been trained to manage both low and high-risk pregnancies, as well as the particular needs of the menopausal patient. Some of her special interests include Da Vinci robotic surgery and advanced laparoscopy, hysteroscopy and the management of uterine fibroids and heavy uterine bleeding.
In Dr. Bookout’s free time, she and her husband, Rod, spend time with their two sweet and energetic boys, Luke and Oliver. She enjoys music and playing the piano, as well as attending musical theater. Dr. Bookout and her family love camping, fishing and hiking, particularly in the beautiful Colorado mountains.
Lauren Schaub, M.D., FACOG
Dr. Lauren Schaub is a board certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist with over 11 years of experience. She received her Doctorate of Medicine from Texas A&M University Health Science Center College of Medicine and completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She is a Lubbock native and is delighted to serve her hometown community by providing excellent care.
Her particular interests include low and high-risk obstetrics and contraception. She earns her patients’ trust and confidence through her expertise combined with genuine care and compassion, and tailors treatment for each individual. She is deeply committed to helping her patients achieve their best state of health through all seasons of life.
From preconception counseling through the postpartum transition, she invests in helping her patients navigate every step of their pregnancy. Her breadth of care in gynecology includes hormone therapy, minimally invasive surgery, and non-incision procedures.
When she’s not at the office, Dr. Schaub and her husband Paul are devoted parents to their three children (Addison, Joshua, and Avery). She enjoys spending time with her family, spectating her childrens’ sporting events, and playing golf.
